WHATS IN A NAME!
TIKVAT HA SHANI is taken from Joshua 2:21, meaning the “scarlet cord”, so it is literally ‘a cord of hope’, as is the Name of the Lord.
TIKVAH: in Hebrew means “hope”, but in this reference it is literally the word for “cord”. SHANI: is the color “scarlet”, this was one of the three main colors commanded for decorative use in the
